%X Objective: The objective of the present study aims to study the anti-diabetic activity of methanolic extracts of ethyl acetate and chloroform fraction of leaves of the selected plant Typhonium trilobatum. Methods: The hypoglycemic activity/antidiabetic activity of ethyl acetate and chloroform fraction of Typhonium trilobatum in single dose and multi dose treatment has been studied in normoglycemic animals and in diabetic animals. Results: The extracts of ethyl acetate and chloroform fraction of Typhonium trilobatum show anti-diabetic activity. Conclusion: From the results it was conformed that ethyl acetate fraction of plant shows higher anti-diabetic activity than chloroform fraction.
