Comparative Liver Histopathological and Histochemical Studies In Hydatid Cyst Disease With Mean Optical Transparency Download PDF

Abstract

Hydatid cyst disease is one of the intense parasitic diseases which will cause death and solely may be treated surgically. The current study was aimed to perform comparative histopathological changes to reveal the effect of the parasites on host liver tissues. These changes were recorded using digital Image Analysis Software on the section's digital images of the infected liver tissues, and it have been demonstrated many significant changes on the host liver tissues. The parasite’s histopathological effects on the liver were presence of granuloma, eosinophilia and some changes in the cells including cloudy swelling, fatty changes and necrosis.
